|Children love to be outside and play in the dirt. With a child’s natural curiosity and endless energy what better way to spend time with kids than working and playing in the garden. Children can experience the satisfaction that comes from caring for something over time, while observing the cycle of life firsthand. Gardening gives children a chance to learn an important life skill, one that is overlooked in the classroom. Gardening is also a great way to teach environmental awareness by exploring the workings of nature and emphasizing early on how important it is to be good stewards of the planet.
