Cobb County Water Lab Training Room
662 South Cobb Drive

UGA Cobb Extension Service

Entomologist, apiculturist, and former Extension Agent Mickey Anderson will instruct us in beekeeping and show different types of equipment used by the beekeeper as well as different hive components. He will also talk about pollination, different castes, brood (young bee) development, comb building, guard duty, and foraging trips of bees. Lastly, he will discuss the importance of the variations in seasonal activities of honey bees.

I drove for over 45 minutes in a Goole Maps Loop trying to find 600 S Cobb Drive as is listed on this page. It appears that 660 S Cobb Drive is a more accurate address. This is located at the corner of Atlanta Rd and 280. I arrived late and missed the entire first half. I was disappointed. Perhaps, the Extension will have another beekeeping seminar.

I am sincerely sorry for the trouble you had with getting to the Lunch and Learn. There was indeed a typo in the address, and this has been fixed. The actual address is 662 South Cobb Drive. I am very grateful that you let us know about this issue! Again, I am deeply sorry for this situation. We hope that you will be able to join us for a future program.
